Pricing & fundraising - your choice
Generous bulk order discount of up to 36% = £9.50 per copy so even customised versions needn't cost your business a penny! (See full rate card below).
Artwork Approval
There is a one-off artwork fee of £57, only charged on your first order of a customised version. (Artwork is free on orders of 100+copies). This covers the creation & approval of artwork for your special edition and can be recouped simply by charging parents the RRP for the portfolio.
Schools are free to set the pricing for their journals.
Our RRP is £14.95.
​Examples:
A minimum order of 20 copies charged to parents at the RRP (£14.95) would cover your artwork set-up fee AND your delivery charge in the first order.
An order of 60 copies sold for RRP would leave you a surplus of £194 after artwork fee and delivery costs.
If you wish, you can add a small premium above the RRP (of say £1-£3) for your special edition. In this way, journal sales may provide a fundraising opportunity, perhaps towards show costs. Journals are typically priced by schools at between £12.95-£15.95.
Take orders and payments in advance, so there’s no financial outlay for your business as the cost of your order is already covered.
​​​​​​​​Order the exact number of copies you want (over 20), no need to round up!
​No artwork fee for future orders of the same version meaning an increased margin for you. You would only be charged if you wanted to make changes to your special edition before you printed a new batch.

DELIVERY COSTS APPLY:
Delivery costs vary according to the size of the order and are determined by our printers at the time of ordering.
The delivery charge will be itemised on your invoice.
Orders of 20-60 copies are usually between £8-£12 to one mainland UK address.
Delivery to multiple addresses is priced on application.
If you need a rush order, let us know on your order form and we will let you know the additional cost.

(MT Theatre Guides is not currently required to register for VAT).

WHAT YOUR ARTWORK FEE COVERS:
First digital proof, revisions, then second digital proof for confirmation.
If any final tweaks are required at this point, a final (third) digital proof will be sent.
Any additional changes and proofs required after the third proof, will be charged at £27 per round.

Tell parents about your Show Portfolio
The school or head office coordinates orders and receives payment via their own internal systems,
OR
Use one of the email templates (for either customised or non-customised options) explaining the offer to your parents, and copy our order form example. Add your own deadline and payment link or instructions for parents on how to pay.

Ordering and payment
Once orders & payments are in from parents , place your order with us, via the Order Now button below & upload your intro letter and logo at the same time.
MT Theatre Guides will send the school an invoice with payment link (payable on receipt). Once full payment is made, we will get to work on your order.

Checking and tweaking
Schools check their proofs, make any requests for changes and we send you a second digital proof for approval. You check and approve your second proof. Final revisions (if required) followed by final proof. Approve your proof by replying to the last proof email.

Write your intro letter & send parents follow up
While you wait for orders, if creating a customised edition, write your intro letter (150-250 words) + ensure you have your logo as a high res PNG file with transparent background (ideally a min 600x600px) ready to upload when you order. Ensure your intro is proofread, edited & ready to print.

Over to us
For customised orders, we will send out your first digital proof within a week. (Printed customised proofs are not feasible). For non-customised orders we will send you confirmation of estimated dispatch date within 2 working days of receiving payment.

Printing and distribution
Once approved by you, your order will be sent to our printers and shipped directly to you. This is usually within approx 10-14 working days or less. We'll let you know the est. delivery date once the order is placed.
You now have the happy task of handing out the journals to your students!
